AIA conference

OBJECTIVE

Architecture and design share a foundation in structure, logic, and clarity. This project explores how those principles can shape a visual identity for a professional conference environment that expects precision. The goal is to create a system that organizes complex information clearly while maintaining a strong conceptual framework. The design must function across multiple formats and scales, supporting both communication and spatial experience through consistency and precision, without losing the energy and ambition that the event is meant to represent.

Approach

The identity is built on grid systems, modular thinking, and spatial hierarchy, allowing information to be structured with clarity and real intention. Rather than relying on decoration, the system emphasizes organization and rhythm to guide understanding across every format. It adapts across applications while maintaining a consistent visual language that holds authority and openness at the same time. The Brutalist (2024) is present throughout: what it means for a designer’s vision to survive scale, time, and institutional pressure, and whether what remains still carries the original intention behind it.
